The Great Gatsby was a book written in 1925 by the author F. Scott Fitzgerald, it exoplores themes of idealism, decadence, social upheveal, and the human nature to resist change. It has been considered one of the greatest works of american literature in the past century.
So “logically” we should hand the story to someone who almost ruined one of Shakespeares best plays: Baz Luhrmann. This will not be as much of a review as it is an analysis of a half decent movie adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. To start, let me explain the difference between film and literature.
